Managing Availability during the Holidays

As the holidays approach, you may be planning to close your business for a few days and take some much needed time off.  In order to ensure that your customers won’t book over the holiday, you will need to block off the days on the booking calendar.  This can be easily managed in WebReserv.  Here’s how:

Marking Products as Unavailable

Log into your WebReserv Account.

Go to Frontdesk – Master Calendar.  Below the calendar grid, click “Mark product as unavailable”.

On the Change Availability screen, you can select a product (or All) and the From and To date. You can also add a comment for the inventory change.

When you are done with your changes, click Save.

Next, click “Click here to return to the availability calendar” to go back to the Master Calendar to review the availability changes.  The calendar will show gray boxes with an N/A indicating that the product(s) are not available during that time.

Note: if you want to remove this adjustment, simply click the N/A link on the calendar to open up the availability screen and click the Delete Adjustment button.
